The Lab explores cutting-edge parametric, nonlinear, complex surface modelling, material, and construction technology, researching innovative metal hybrid printing manufacturing. It optimizes the design through algorithms, and adopts composite intelligent devices and equipment to represent the complex construction, constantly exploring the creative application of related technologies in architecture and the construction of indoor and outdoor environments. Based on the Macau platform, the Lab will carry out collaboration and research on practical projects with leading architectural design firms, university laboratories, and research institutes in related fields, including Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Tongji University, Nanjing College of the Arts, and other top universities and research institutes home and abroad. The Lab also commits to the development of creative and complex construction and assembly products, which can be used in various spaces and art exhibitions, hoping to change the homogeneity of art in the public living space by promoting the art construction and assembly.
