Course Description
Advanced Research Methods (3 credits)
本科目通過定性研究、定量研究、混合研究等方法,為學生提供音樂研究方法的進階學習。科目涵蓋文獻綜述、學術探究、學術規範、學術倫理等內容,進一步明晰概念闡釋、問卷調查、案例分析以及數據收集與分析的方法和步驟。
Theory and Analysis of Music (3 credits)
本科目以課堂講授、文獻閱讀與研討、作品分析及專題論文寫作相結合的方式完成。對音樂基本理論展開系統性、綜合性學習,通過音樂作品的聆聽、分析,運用音樂形態學、分析學、人類學等理論,尤其是20世紀以來音樂理論的創新成果,對作品音樂語言、創作手法及表現形式進行風格性理解與認知。
Music Innovation (3 credits)
本科目深度融合具有跨學科廣度的音樂專業、創意合作和創業技能。緊密結合經濟社會發展趨勢,把握科技與文化前沿方法,運用創意觀點把音樂與跨學科知識加以綜合,轉化為商業數字和創意企業的方案,達成藝術能力、創造能力、情感素質的綜合培養。
History of Chinese and Foreign Music (3 credits)
本科目以中外音樂發展歷史為主要內容,結合文化背景、歷史淵源,以音樂風格演變與衍展為主要線索,通過音樂本體解析,在掌握中外音樂歷史發展整體脈絡的基礎上,對優秀音樂成果加以史學理解與認知,從而建立音樂思潮、音樂風格等方面的哲學思考。
Ethnomusicology (3 credits)
本科目是音樂學與人類學之交叉學科,涵蓋民族音樂學所涉及的基本概念、民族音樂學家及其理論建構、研究觀點以及學科貢獻。本科目旨在促進學生樹立多元思維視域,掌握民族音樂學學科理論以及田野工作、音樂民族志、記譜與記譜法、樂器學法等研究方法,以學科特有的學術視野展開理論思考和論文寫作。
Past and Present of Music Education (3 credits)
本科目通過對中國、德國、美國、英國、日本等國家音樂教育發展歷史脈絡的梳理,在音樂教育理論與實踐的比較研究中,對其規律、方法、內容、評價方式等進行共時與歷時性的認知,進而提升對國内外音樂教育現狀的把握與差異性解讀。
Music Aesthetics (3 credits)
本科目旨在運用哲學美學理論與方法,在音樂藝術總體的高度研究音樂之美的本質及其內在規律性。在音樂美學思潮的歷史變遷中展開基礎性、通史性學習,進而結合專題性研究成果開展探究性學習,培養學生以高度抽象、概括與邏輯思維能力,在音樂美與審美的基本規律、音樂實踐的美學問題等研討中提升理論素養、研究與批評能力。
Contemporary Music (3 credits)
本科目旨在運用和聲、曲式、主題、動機、序列、節奏、申克、集合、比例及風格等當代音樂分析方法,綜覽當代音樂呈現出的紛繁複雜面貌,認知個性迥異的音樂創作理念,分析形形色色的音樂創作素材,總結音樂創作技術,力爭較為全面地理解與認知當代種種音樂現象與音樂實踐。
Special Topics (3 credits)
本科目圍繞不同專家教授、業界研究新動態、新問題展開深入的專類研討,同時結合個人研究專長與興趣開展系列專題活動,運用科學方法,有目的、有計劃地開展相應的理論研究與藝術實踐,並通過宣講、研討、音樂會、教學等形式,展開理論與實踐的立體化、深層次認知與推理。
Advanced Music Theory and Practice * (3 credits)
本科目主要針對音樂創作理論與表演實踐進行綜合研討。一方面音樂創作與表演需要運用音樂史學的方法梳理樂人、樂譜等相關文獻;另一方面通過和聲學、曲式學、音樂形態學的方法進一步分析和解讀音樂;此外,還應運用音樂美學、音樂心理學的視角加以實踐,為創作與表演的闡釋建立良好理論基礎。
Academic Activities (1 credits)
學生必需參與至少10次由學院認可的學術活動,如學校組織的講座、研討會、參觀等。每次活動後,學生需提交一頁紙(A4)長度的活動報告,並由指定導師批閱。該科目旨在培養學生的綜合素質,開拓學術視野,創新思維的養成。
Dissertation (12 credits)
選讀音樂理論研究範疇者:須撰寫一篇符合學校要求且不少於八萬字的原創論文並進行論文答辯。選讀音樂理論與實踐研究範疇者:須根據澳門科技大學人文藝術學院音樂學博士學位《學位音樂會方案指引》提交學位音樂會方案,獲得通過後須舉辦學位音樂會,並須撰寫不少於四萬字的原創博士論文,博士學位論文必須通過評審並進行答辯,答辯通過將獲得12學分。
Degree Requirements
1. Students are required to complete three core courses from Table 1, three elective courses from Table 2, and academic activities (ten times of attendance) from Table 3 during the first 2 semesters to gain 19 credits. 2. After finishing each course, students will be assessed based on regulations established by the instructor and the Faculty. 3. After confirmation of enrollment of the required credits, students can start writing the thesis proposal and complete the thesis proposal defense. Students can continue their dissertation research and writing upon completion of thesis proposal defense. 4. Students pursuing the field of Music Theory must submit a dissertation no less than 80,000 words in length and adheres to the University’s requirements. Student will also need to defend the submitted dissertation and, upon successful defense, will earn 12 credits. 5. Students pursuing the field of Music Theory and Practice students are required to adhere to the “Degree Recital Proposal Guidelines”. Upon approval of the Recital Proposal, students need to organize a degree recital and write a dissertation no less than 40,000 words. The dissertation will undergo evaluation and a defense. Upon successfully completing these requirements, students will gain 12 credits. 6. Students are required to publish at least one first-level academic work, OR at least two second-level academic works. The works will be evaluated and approved by the Faculty. Please refer to “A Guidance for Publication Assessment for the Doctoral Students of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts” for details.
Learning Time
The duration for taking all courses is 12 months and no less than 12 months of dissertation composition, up to 24 months. Classes will generally be scheduled from Monday to Sunday, daytime or at nights.
Qualifications of Graduation
Upon approval from the Senate of the University, a Doctoral Degree will be conferred on a student when he or she has: 1. Completed and met the requirements prescribed in the study plan of his or her program within the specific study period, and achieved a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or above (excluding dissertation); and 2. Abided by the regulations of the University; and 3. Cleared all fees and charges and returned all University’s property and equipment borrowed.
