Degree Requirements

1. The total number of credits required to complete the program is 33. 2. Students are required to complete three core courses in Table 1, three elective courses in Table 2 during the first 3 semesters to gain 18 credits. After finishing each course, students will be assessed based on regulations established by the instructor and the Faculty. 3. Students must fulfil the academic activities within the designated timeframe to gain 1 credit. (Students must participate in no less than 10 academic activities) 4. Students must fulfil the internship requirements and submit their internship report within the designated timeframe to gain 6 credits. (For specific requirements, please refer to the internship management regulations issued by the Faculty.) 5. Students are required to complete the Thesis in Table 4 within the designated timeframe: Students are obligated to compose an authentic Thesis that adheres to University standards and encompasses no less than 20,000 words. Alternatively, students may opt to adhere to the provided guidelines to complete a practical project relevant to their field and write an original Thesis of no less than 10,000 words. To earn 8 credits, the master's Thesis must undergo a meticulous evaluation process and successfully pass a thesis defense. (For practical project requirements, please refer to the relevant guidelines issued by the Faculty)

Learning Time

1. The duration for taking all courses is 18 months and the duration for thesis writing is 6 months. 2. Classes will generally be scheduled from Monday to Sunday, daytime or at nights.

Qualifications of Graduation

Upon approval from the Senate of the University, a Master’s Degree will be conferred on a student when he or she has: 1. Completed and met the requirements prescribed in the study plan of his or her program within the specific study period, and achieved a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or above (excluding thesis); and 2. Abided by the regulations of the University; and 3. Cleared all fees and charges and returned all University’s property and equipment borrowed. If the student passes all courses required in Table 1, 2, and 3 above with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above, but fails to submit or pass the final thesis oral defense during the specified period, he/she can only get a completion certificate.
